Hoe maak ik mijn boot winterklaar?
Het winterklaar maken van een boot is belangrijk om schade door bevriezing, corrosie, en andere weersomstandigheden te voorkomen. Om het voor u zo makkelijk mogelijk te maken hebben we een overzicht gemaakt waar u aan moet denken bij het winterklaar maken van uw boot.

Voorkom schimmel!
-Maak de boot van binnen en buiten grondig schoon
Haal kussens, matrassen en beddengoed van boord i.v.m. vocht
De verspreiding van schimmel en andere allergene stoffen, worden effectief geminimaliseerd met behulp van vochtvangers

-Ververs de olie
-Vervang oliefilters
-Controleer de brandstof -en koelsystemen
-Gebruik antivries bij een open koelsysteem

-Vul de brandstoftank volledig om condensvorming te minimaliseren
-Voeg een brandstofstabilisator toe om te voorkomen dat de brandstof verslechtert
-Bij een inboard motor is het van belang de olie in de motor te verversen
Water -en sanitaire systemen
-Zorg ervoor dat alle waterleidingen, toiletten en tanks zijn leeggepompt en dat er geen water achterblijft
-Gebruik antivries in de waterleidingen om bevriezing te voorkomen
Accu
-Verwijder de accu en sla deze op in een droge en koele ruimte. Zorg ervoor dat de accu volledig opgeladen is voordat je hem opslaat en controleer regelmatig het laadniveau tijdens de wintermaanden.
Weersomstandigheden
-Bedek de boot met een goed passende dekzeil om deze te beschermen tegen sneeuw, ijs en vorst. Controleer regelmatig de staat van het dekzeil om ervoor te zorgen dat het goed blijft.
-Controleer of uw landvasten nog heel zijn en of uw boot goed vast ligt.
